Through our website  we are aiming at keeping residents, visitors to the area and weekenders informed of what’s happening in Marulan and its surrounds. We will aim to keep you informed of any changes throughout the fire season and we will remind you when its time to start preparing your property for the next fire season.

In the Marulan area in previous years, the Marulan Brigade has responded to around 60 to 80 calls as a result of car accidents, fire alarms, bush, house and car fires. There is always a crew or two ready to respond 24/7.

So far this year, Marulan RFB has been extremely Busy mainly in January, but since has had Numerous Motor Vehicle Accidents, as well as Hazard Reductions that have not had a Fire Permit.

Positions Vacant  Volunteer Members Required

We are in need of anyone, male or female, of any age who is interested in becoming a volunteer firefighter with the Brigade. You will be trained in all aspects of Brigade activities required. As we operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, anytime that you may be available will help tremendously as many members work and are not available for callouts at all hours.

If you are interested please call Warren Denniss on 0408 403 316  or call into the Station on any Tuesday evening, for a membership form.

Financial Assistance:

As you are aware the Brigade relies on your financial assistance to keep going with its everyday operational costs and to maintain its vehicles in top working order so that we are assured that whenever a call-out comes, the vehicles are ready to respond . Again we thank you for your financial assistance which has enabled the brigade to complete its projects during the year. Following a change from the Tax Department, donations to the Brigade are not tax deductible.

Your co-operation by filling in the form below and returning it with your remittance will be appreciated. Any enquiries can be directed to any of the above office bearers.

Remember on any Tuesday evening throughout the year, you will find a dedicated group of members gathered at the fire Station training and carrying out ongoing maintenance work on

your brigade owned trucks and shire vehicles. This past year they have worked nearly four thousand hours at the shed doing maintenance and training so if you are in the area why not call in, say hello and see how your donations are being used. You are assured of a warm and friendly welcome.

In the event of Fire always call 000
